I’m Aoife, a textile designer specialising in knitwear and knit swatch development.

My work is rooted in craftsmanship, technical knowledge, and a commitment to creating thoughtful, long-lasting designs.

I work across hand knitting, domestic and semi-industrial knitting machines, alongside industrial sewing techniques.

 

This technical foundation allows me to develop considered knit structures and swatches designed with both creativity and production in mind, suitable for a range of outcomes and applications.

Sustainability is central to my approach.

 

I aim to work with responsible materials and mindful processes, designing knit textiles that prioritise durability, material awareness, and longevity.

 

Alongside developing knit swatches for freelance collaborations, I also create small runs of knitwear available through my online shop.
